Day Two of KKS November Sneak Peaks!!!

Welcome back to day two of our NOVEMBER Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Didja see our New KARDMAKING KIT??? Wowzers...so many awesome goodies!! Today we are excited to share TWO supah cute new sets by artist Cheryl Alger!!! It's always a good time to tell someone you love them, right?!? We are sharing samples today featuring.......SENDING ALL MY LOVE! and TOGETHER IS BETTER!

Hey there Krafty peeps, well I made yet another wall hanging. lol I had picked up this Making Memories, Love Struck garland kit eons ago and never put it together and when I saw these images (Together is Better) I thought they would be a nice little addition. I did change the kit up a bit because it came with these flattened pom pom looking things, and I really didn't care for the look of them. So I used my spellbinders to create the white backdrop and embossed them to add a little more dimension. I also added lots and lots of pearls. I also used some epoxy stickers that came with a Déja Views brag book from dollarama.

KKS Challenge #194, Embellish It

I hadn't had the chance yet to play with this sweet Lexi image from the Lil Athletes set and thought she'd be fun to use for this weeks Embellish challenge. Such a cute and sweet image to and all kinds of pretty and frilly embellishments to. The paper I thought was worked nicelt as well, soft colours with kind of a brocade type design to them. Anyway I had a lot of fun with this challenge. Embellish away!!

Welcome back to day FOUR of our JULY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! The awesome new stamps just keep on comin'!!

We are SO thrilled to share the newest trio of stamps from Rachelle! Let's call the collection......SUMMER FUN!!! Cherish the Little Moments, Fishin' Friends and Summer Swingin'!!

For this card the paper was all I needed to make this card come together. I used a spellbinder to frame the image and then surrounded it with pearls. Added some pretty ribbon and  a MFT grass die cut. Voila :)

KKS Release Day! Woot Woot!!

Well welcome back!! It’s Krafty RELEASE Day at KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMPS!! And we’re celebrating with a KRAFTY HOP!!

Over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, we have shared lots of AMAZING new stamps from all our artists! We’ve got something for everyone!! We've got TWO sweet new summertime sets from Nicole.......GOOD VIBRATIONS and SUMMER LOVIN’!! We’ve got two sweet new sets from Cheryl……SHELL ME A STORY and TOTALLY TUBULAR!! And of course we have an amazing new set of SIX awesome stamps in our BEACHY GIRLS collection and they are simply A-mazing!! 

I want to be this girl relaxing in the sun with a cocktail. Sounds heavenly.  Unfortunately Mother Nature has denied us the sunny forecast for today and it was mostly overcast all day :( I think tomorrow it is to be nicer, fingers crossed. Anyway, this is Margarita. I added some flowers from my stash that I thought looked kinda tropical and added a pearl brad to the centres. The flourish is from a Cheery Lynn die, The sunglasses were a little dimensional sticker from Jolee's Boutique.

These two cards are made with the Good Vibrations set. I love this sentiment. My girls actually got me one of those word plaques for Christmas that said, "I love you more than Cupcakes." Awww. I loved it!!

Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps Sneak Peaks Day One

It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's MARCH 2013 RELEASE!!!!! 

We are kicking off the *New* MARCH Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and we're excited that this month we have TWO sets of fabulous TRINKETS!! We'll share one set today by itself and one set tomorrow in combo with some new images!! Today we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of ….SPRING TRINKETS!!

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the SPRING Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber. They're just PERFECT for all your springy creations!!!

Day 2 of KKS Sneak Peaks

Welcome back to our NOVEMBER Krafty Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share the TWO new SETS by artist Cheryl Alger!!! First we have some characters that you are already familiar with.....Lulu, Lexi and Lucas! And we are very excited to share a sweet new inspirational set by Cheryl!!! It's OFF WE GO!! and DELIGHTFUL VERSES!!!

For my first card I used Lucas and the papers I used are from a 6x6 MME pad that is called Away we go. Kept it pretty simple cut out the image with my spellbinders and inked the image with some soft sky SU ink before removing it from the frame. Then I traced the spellbinder onto some kraft cardstock and cut it out to create the small frame around it.

With Lulu the papers are from Blink of an eye from MME frames lulu with my scalloped spellbinders ink it with some wheat chalk ink and punched out some flowers using the same dp added some buttons and twine.

KKS Challenge #139 Summer Themed

Hey there Krafters. This week's Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge is to make a Summer Themed card. So I had this image of Arianna coloured from a long, long time ago. I added a bit more shading to her and then carefully trimmed her out and I added some pop dots to her and the sea horses, added a bit of ribbon and pearls and voila.
I love teal but I rarely pair it up with orange... I'm going to have to do this more often, I really like the combo together.

KKS challenge #114 It's Kraftin' Kimmie's Birthday!!!

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is to make a Birthday card...well beings Kimmie's is a very close friend of mine and if things go right we can usually get together at least once a week to chat and play with these fabulous stamps. So I made her a Birthday card using Lulu. I'm not sure if Kimmie ever did ballet but I thought she'd like it. :)

I did my card a little different then I typically do. I saw a card at my MIL house like this and loved the look of it. I thought Lulu would look great as a focal point on a card like this. Sorry I forget what they call this type of card.

And here's a side profile pic....

The papers I used are from MME Lost & Found - Madison Avenue. I added some prima flowers that I had been hoarding (Kimmie's worth it! lol )  and a strip of pearls from the dollar store. I love these!!! You get tons in a package, a nice variety of colours too.  I framed the sentiment using my fancy labels spellbinders.

I loved colouring Aphrodite, I think she looks so elegant. I thought these papers from Prima called the Melody collection looked great with this image. Very soft, but rich looking. If that makes any sense. lol

Day One of January's Sneak Peaks!!!

Happy New Year everyone!! I've been on somewhat of an extended vacation from blogging and creating in general... but now I'm back!! And with some sneak peaks of Kraftin' Kimmie's latest release and some new designers have joined the team.

Welcome Alice, Amanda, Cheryl, Jenny, Sandie and Sharon. I've seen lots of they're work and you won't be disappointed. This is a very talented and sweet bunch of ladies. :)

So today we are featuring Cheryl's latest cuties. I love these little girls, how could you not! They're so adorable. Look at this lil one playin in the tub.

The paper I used are from DCWV Nana's Nursery. Thought the soft colours worked nicely with this image.
Kept the layout super simple. Added some pearls and framed Lulu with my loopy spellbinders.
