KKS Challenge #197 - School's back in, Bookmarks needed.

Welcome back for another totally fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got a great challenge for you again this week!! Come along and play with us! 

This week our hostess is ANGIE!! Her challenge for you this week is School's Back IN!! So she'd like for us to create a BOOKMARK this week (with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp) and share it here! Get creative! You can pretty much use ANY KKS image to create a fun bookmark, but some are especially perfect!! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubbah!!!

So for my challenge this week I have decided to challenge you to make a bookmark. My girls both love to read, and they often have more then one book on the go so bookmarks are great!! Especially when there this cute, right!? ;) I made this bookmark by just using my circle punch on the top two corners to cut off a 1/4 of the full circle. I hope that makes sense. I used an image from one of my ALL time favourite sets, Girls just wanna have fun!   And I also added a sentiment from a retired set, but thought it went nicely with this. I cut it out so that it would look somewhat like a thought bubble and then used some stickles around the edges for a dreamy kind of look.

KKS Challenge 181, Paper piecing

Well, welcome back for another supah fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got another fantastically FUN challenge for you this week, not to mention lots of other fun stuff!! Come along and play with us! 

This week our hostess is KIM O!! And her challenge is PAPER PIECING!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features a bit of paper piecing! Woohoo!! Well today is my eldest daughter's 9th Birthday (Happy Birthday D!) but this card is actually for my other daughter's birthday that is next month. And her favourite colour is purple. I had this 12x12 slab that I got from Walmart from a company called Momenta. Really cute paper, and how perfect is this cupcake paper?! I used Birthday Lulu and a Birthday trinket, added a lot of stickles to the cupcake, a little ric rac and a few buttons. Perfect for my soon to be 7 year old. :)

Well aren't these the sweetest stamps you've ever seen?!! Having two little girls myself I'm always partial to these super cute images. I coloured Lexi and Lulu from the Totally Tubular set using my copics using lots of fun bright colours, now that we finally have some nice weather it was easy to get in the mood for these summery stamps.
