KKS Challenge #194, Embellish It

Welcome back for another totally fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got a great challenge for you again this week!! Come along and play with us! 

This week our hostess is SHERI!! Her challenge for you this week is EMBELLISH IT!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item (with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp) and share it with us here! I hadn't had the chance yet to play with this sweet Lexi image from the Lil Athletes set and thought she'd be fun to use for this weeks Embellish challenge. Such a cute and sweet image to and all kinds of pretty and frilly embellishments to. The paper I thought was worked nicelt as well, soft colours with kind of a brocade type design to them. Anyway I had a lot of fun with this challenge. Embellish away!!

I'm so happy with the way my Mary Poppins card turned out. My style is usually very girly, cutesie,and bright colours. Whereas this is more elegant and almost a bit of a vintage feel. Yes, maybe?
Anyway I usually pick my papers out first but this time I coloured  and then just picked out odds and ends from my scraps that I thought would work.. I think most of the papers are from a DCW  slab, but I'm really not sure the names.
I've had these Cuttlebug corner dies that I never use that I thought would be a nice touchand the lace edge I made with  my Martha Stewart border punch. Added some flowers and some black ribbon and voila.

Day 2 of KKS Sneak Peaks....

Welcome back to our OCTOBER Krafty Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share the TWO new SETS by artist Cheryl Alger!!! We have two NEW characters to introduce you to! Meet Lexi and Lucas in their own new sets!!! It's LEXI'S WINTER FUN and SNOW DAY LUCAS!!! 


So first of all aren't these kids the cutest?!! I love them! Great for cards and perfect for adding to some fun winter layout pages. I used Lexie first and paired her up with some soft snowflake paper from Imaginisce, Cottage Christmas. Distressed the edges, added some glitter and a few buttons and twine. Sweet simple card.

There's also Lucas who just as cute, maybe a little more mischievous  with that snow ball in hand...lol.
I used some papers from The Snowfall Collection by BoBunny. I loved the browns and blues. Some kraft cardstock was the perfect base and accent colour. Some snowflakes from my CB dies, a lil bling, bakers twine and Voila. I also used my SU punch for the sentiment. So many of the KKS sentiments fit perfectly in it, I use it alot.

Day one of KKS July Sneak Peaks

Hi there and welcome to day one of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Starting with some new Happy Birthday trinkets. These are perfect for quick cute cards and great additions to any scrapbook layout.

Also they're perfect for using up all those odds and ends of designer paper that we all have hoards of. lol Add a couple of embellishments and you've got a great card on hand for someone special.

KKS Challenge 100!!!!

It's celebration time at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps today!! Do you know why??? Well, actually it's for a couple of reasons! Firstly, if you've noticed the challenge number.....today is our 100th KKS Challenge!!! Woohoo! And secondly, this month marks Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' SECOND BIRTHDAY!!! Can you believe it?? So we're doing something special to mark the occasion!
Have you ever wanted to be a Krafty Girl?? Think ya got what it takes?? Well, here's your chance to show it!! Our challenge for this week is to USE YOUR FAVOURITE KRAFTIN' KIMMIE STAMP! That's it...nothin' fancy! Just make us a creation featuring one of your fave KKStamps and share it on the KKStamps blog!
