More KKS Sneak Peaks!!

Today is Day three of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Today we're featuring Emilie's newest creations. And I've done something a little different then what I usually do. I was originally a scrapbooker and never even touched a stamp....well now it's the total opposite. I still love to scrapbook, so I've combined both passions.

Here's what I came up with using Emilie's cute lil seagull. Totally reminds me of Finding Nemo....lol

This was last year in Port Stanley at a friends cottage. We had such a great weekend and the girls absolutely LOVE going to the beach!!! This is my youngest daughter Cory. Going for a dip, playing in the sand....

and having some fries.

Fortunately the seagulls left us alone. :)

To see more of Emilie's Tweets and Twitters sets check out the Kraftin' Kimmie challenge blog. For a chance to win leave comments along the way and two random winners will be selected each winning a set of Tweets and Twitters!!!

Now go PEAK!!! :)

KKS Day two...

Welcome back for some more Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Today were are featuring the artist Cheryl and the ever so cute Lulu series.

Today I have chosen to play with Lulu with umbrella. I made this coordinating altered tin for a Birthday gift for a friend of my youngest daughter's and we filled in with all kinds of crafty stuff. Then made a matching card to go along with it.

The papers I used are form the Cirtus DCWV stack, added some flowers from the oooh so fabulous Dollarama, some pretty gem brads and a few tear drops. Voila!! :) Oh! and some crystal lacquer to make the umbrella shiny.

Wanna a chance to win some Lulu's. Leave a comment on the design teams blogs (here) and you may be one lucky winner of some new rubber.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back tomorrow with some sneak peaks.

Day One of KKS Sneak Peaks...

Hi there and welcome to day one of sneak peaks for Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps February release. She has come up with something awesome!! First of all...let me just say that I love to be crafty, but sewing was never for me. I had a sewing machine in my craft room for the longest time and I never even opened the thing up. Perhaps that also had something to do with the TV sitting on top of it.lol

I've always liked the look of sewing on cards but never was interested in actually trying it myself. So here's  a cheater way of doing it...Stamping it!!  The In Stitches set comes with all sizes and styles of stitches and four coordinating sentiments.  So here's a peak at what i did with it using  Lavender.

The paper's I used are from The Crafty Stack/ DCWV. I paper pieced the quilt and coloured the rest using my copics. Added the crisscrossing stitches along the bottom and a few buttons that I picked up from Michael's.
For more sneak peaks check out the KKS challenge blog.

See ya tomorrow for more sneak peaks!! You won't wanna miss it!! :)

KKS Challenge 115 pins and pearls

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is to use pins and pearls on your cards. I never really Sam to use pins on my cards so I went with pearls. I chose to use Eva, I must say we've been pretty lucky here in southern Ontario with our winter this year. We've had some really great weather, I can't even remember the last time I picked up a shovel. It's kinda nice not to have the kids dressed in snow suits before heading off to the bus in the morning. We haven't even been wearing winter boots!! :) So now that I've said that... I hoped haven't jinxed it! Also as I'm typing this post, my youngest daughter is watching Frosty the snow man. Lol. I do believe they are calling for some snow overnight , just hope it's not too much. I've been kinda spoiled with these milder temperatures and I'm lovin it!!

Anyway this is Eva. The paper's I used are from Bobunny and the snowflakes I got in a lil loot bag from a Scrappin get together. Both the pearl brads and pearls are dollar store finds.

To see more of this week's challenge please pop over to the KKS challenge blog. also Frugal Fridays are on now as well. Check out the great sales!!
Thanks for stopping by. :) and Have a great weekend!!

KKS challenge #114 It's Kraftin' Kimmie's Birthday!!!

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is to make a Birthday card...well beings Kimmie's is a very close friend of mine and if things go right we can usually get together at least once a week to chat and play with these fabulous stamps. So I made her a Birthday card using Lulu. I'm not sure if Kimmie ever did ballet but I thought she'd like it. :)

I did my card a little different then I typically do. I saw a card at my MIL house like this and loved the look of it. I thought Lulu would look great as a focal point on a card like this. Sorry I forget what they call this type of card.

And here's a side profile pic....

The papers I used are from MME Lost & Found - Madison Avenue. I added some prima flowers that I had been hoarding (Kimmie's worth it! lol )  and a strip of pearls from the dollar store. I love these!!! You get tons in a package, a nice variety of colours too.  I framed the sentiment using my fancy labels spellbinders.

I hope you had a wonderful Birthday Kimmie and I hope everyone else enjoyed today's challenge. To see what the rest of the Krafty Girls came up with check them out at the KKS challenge Blog, and If you'd like to play along you will have the chance to win Tabitha.
