Day Three of KKS sneak peaks

Hi there and welcome back to day three of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps. Today we're featuring Emilie's newest creations and they are so sweet!! I played with a couple of the images, here's a peak of the first one.

I coloured her in with my copics markers matching her to the Cosmo Cricket Pixie-licious papers that I used, ironically. Lol I added a little bit of glitter to her wand and wings using my Gelly Roll Sakura Star dust pen. This is my go to pen for adding just a subtle amount of glitter. I also finally used my prima roses that I got way back at Christmas time that I've been hoarding, but I thought she was so cute she deserved to have them right there beside her. Underneath the rose is a little flourish of gems that I picked up from the dollar store. Stamped the sentiment and then punched it out with SU word window punch and then framed it with the fancy labels punch in a nice glittery teal.

For my second card the papers are from MME Happy Go Lucky, and I think that's just how she looks. :) Framed her with my spellbinders and inked around the edges with some SU soft sky. It's a great colour to use for this technique.

I added a a scalloped border and some sparkly butterflies with a MS punch, and added some glittery ribbon. Again from the $ store. Sometimes you can find the best little finds there.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pop back tomorrow you won't be disappointed!!

KKS challenge - It's Spring!!

Welcome to this week's Kraftin Kimmie's Stamps challenge. This week's challenge was to make a spring themed card. Well I just had to use one of our flower girls from Annie. So I decided to use Calla Lily, I thought she'd be perfect!!

I coloured her using my copics, then I decided to paper piece her dress using some really cute flowered paper from Stampin Up. I also added some stickles and a little bit of shading to her dress and a few pearls in her hair.

I found these really pretty pearl brads at Hobby Lobby I believe they are from the Spare Parts line and added a vine flourish with a cheery lynn die cut. I used a couple of my MS punches to create the border and the butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by and to play along in this weeks challenge or to see more of this weeks cards pop on over to the KKS challenge blog.
Have a great weekend.

KKS Challenge #103, Pin it Down.

Hi there and thanks for stopping by to check out this week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge. This week's challenge was to use a pin on our card...well I don't have any pins!!A challenge indeed.  I've never really used them on my cards before. But then I did remember a card that I made with a kit that had a pin in it, so... I swiped it! lol

I used Sarah shopper, I think MOST women can totally relate to this sentiment, "I prefer to call it 'supporting the economy."

I love shopping, even if I don't come home with a single thing I love to look!!

To see more of this weeks challenge pop over to the KKS challenge blog.

KKS Challenge # 95

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is A blast from the Past. Use one of your first KKS stamps on your card this week.

Charlotte would have to be one of my all time Fav's. However you're going to be seeing a lot of that girl today so I chose to use Lola Davinci.

I kept my card pretty simple especially with the "splashy" $ store paper I used in the background. I was going to colour up another image as Lola's art piece. But then decided to have it be a self portrait. So a quick colour copy and Voila. Sneaky eh? ;) saved me some time. lol

Join us down memory lane and check out what the other Krafty Gals dusted off for this week's KKS challenge... here.
Just teasing, there would be no dust. ;)

Miles and Maisie meet CPS

This week, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is thrilled to sponsor the Card Positioning Systems challenge. The sketch is very versatile but I didn't get very creative and copied it...exactly. lol Not very adventurous of me.
So here is the sketch..

And here is what I created...

Pretty much bang on right...hahahaha. Told ya. Next time I'll try to mix it up a bit...we'll see.

So I stamped Springtime Maisie, and then stamped Catching Butterflies right next to her like they were enjoying a day out together, cute right?!! Coloured them with my copics, added a few butterflies that I punched out with a Martha Stewart punch, and finished it off with some dollar store pearls. The paper is from K Marcella.

Some of the other Krafty Girls have played along as well, and you will see what they've created on the CPS blog later this week. Like to play along for the chance to win some new rubber?  Well join us for this challenge as well as Card For Kids challenge at the KKStamps Challenge blog for the chance to win some new rubber! :)

Today I'm helping out a fellow krafty girl Elaine. So here's the card I created using Friends are for Hugging. I coloured her using my copics. The paper is from the Crazy Love Collection by BoBunny. I used my Martha Stewart double hearts border punch, added a few primas with some Recollection stickers that look like buttons for the centres. The sentiment "Friends are for hugging" I stamped onto kraft and used a SU punch to cut it out and added a few tiny gems from the $ store.

Thanks for stopping by.

KKS Challenge #79

This week's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is to use text on your cards. I chose to work with one of our Scriptural Quotes from this months release.  The paper also has a beautiful glittery text on it and is from Be Mine DCWV that I picked up at Joannes.

I added a bit of ribbon that had some gems on it. Used my loopy nestie circles for the sentiment that I inked up using sepia versfine ink. The lacey scallops I made with my MS border punch on kraft cardstock.
To finish it I added a couple of little primas and a fabric flower from Recollections...Boutique  Fleur.

Be sure to stop by the KKS challenge blog to see what the rest of the Krafty Girls came up with this week.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great long weekend!! :)

KKS Challenge #78 Girls Rock

Alright you're back for more Kraftin Kimmie sneek peeks and seriously... you won't be disappointed.
These girls rock!! Ironically that's what this week's Kraftin Kimmie's Challenge is. Girls rock!!
So make a card for a girlfriend, doesn't need to be an occasion, but just a card to let her know what a good friend she is, or how important she is to you...or what ever. Just let a girlfriend know that SHE ROCKS!!

Speaking of women who rock...Annie has outdone herself again. She's one uber talented gal...and I hear she likes kick boxing....hmmm maybe this Janelle girl should be called Annie??

Any who...isn't she feisty?!! I had to give her some funky hair cause she oozes coolness. Added some "chains" using my ek punch. The paper was from my stash...but it was Halloween paper. I just covered up the spiders. Hee hee. Janelle comes with two sentiments "You knock me out!" and "You've got the power."

Now meet Tori. I have to laugh every time I look at this stamp because my dog is nothing like this lil fella. I have a Bernese Mountain dog and if any of you know what type a dog that is...there big!

I do love this stamp though. I carefully trimmed Tori and her little doggy out. I added a piece of black twine to replace the leash that was there. My trimming skills aren't that good.... Melanie ;)  lol

The rest of the card was simple because of the paper I used from Nikki Sivils Max & Mollie Minis that I picked up at SGD. Added a few butterflies made with my MS punch and added the sentiment that comes with Tori..."just go with it!

Tomorrow is release day so all of the sneek peeks that you've been seeing over the past few days will be available tomorrow. Be sure to check back and join our Blog Hop and a chance to win some stamps.

If you head to our Krafty Girl challenge blog you'll be able to see more sneek peeks of Annie's.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day. :)

KKS Challenge #74 - Krafty Bingo

It's Day Three of Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Sneak Peeks...and a challenge.

Today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is a Krafty bingo...I was beyond confused at first but when I met Tara who is incredibly sweet, she explained it to me and then it made sense. I thought we had to choose a row and then make a card with the embellies in that row...in a row. But the challenge is just to choose a row and then put the anywhere on your card...doesn't have to be in a row. Duh me!! Totally makes sense now.
So here's the sketch.
And here are two cards I made following the sketch.
Annie Rodrigue has done it again with her incredible artistic talent creating five beautiful fairies
It was hard to choose but for my first card I used Isabelle and I chose the diagonal row, bottom left to top right. Punches, ribbon, and gems.

For my second card I used Tallulahbelle and I used the left parallel row on the Bingo card. Flowers, Glitter, and Diecuts.

I absolutely love all of these fairies. I think there easily one of my favourite releases. Love them!!!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the challenge blog to see more of these cuties.
Plus release day is Tomorrow!! :)

KKS Sneak peaks day one.

Hi there and welcome to our first day of Kraftin Kimmie stamps sneak peeks. Today were starting our peeks with Krafty Quotes #3. I chose to use the the Eleanor Roosevelt quote. I used two sets of my spellbinders and added a few flowers and some little gems that I got from the dollar store. I also added a few butterflies using my Martha Stewart bunch.
There are three other quotes in the Krafty Quotes #3 set. Want to see more...of course you do, so hop on over to the challenge blog and check out the rest of the Krafty Girls cards.

Have a great day and be sure to come back tomorrow to see some more sneak peeks.

KKS Challenge #71 Welcome in Spring

Today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is to Welcome in Spring...using spring colours. I chose to use Yvette for this challenge. she looks like she's heading out to pick flowers...or maybe an Easter Egg hunt. Most of the supplies I used are from Stampin Up. Some old designer paper, (that I loved) and the punch for the sentiment. A few prima flowers and some teal ribbon from Dollarama.

To see more of this weeks Kraftin Kimmie challenge you'll see more here.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend.

Sneak peaks day three...and...

Today is a GREAT DAY!!

One...because this gal here... with her cup of coffee,... her name is ANGIE  * Eeeeeks :) *
I loooove my coffee, and I looooove my stamp. If only my hair looked that good when I woke up. lol

Two...It's Friday and just the beginning of march break.

Three...it's my Birthday!! :) yeah!!

So my good friend and krafty pal Kimmie made me a stamp. I'm beyond thrilled and honoured to have an image named after me. Thanks Kimmie :)

I found this paper at Dollar Giant, isn't it perfect...and it's glittery. I used my SU and MS border punches on some pink Bazzil bling cardstock and then added a strip of the designer paper to the middle. I also added a few primas that I had gotten at Micheal's on clearance for less then half the price. I love it when you can score a good deal.

Again to see more of Kraftin Kimmie' Stamps newest and bestest images pop on over to the challenge blog.
Lots more to see!!

Sneak Peeks day one

Today's Kraftin Kimmie sneak peak is from the Krafty Quotes #2 set. "Peace begins with a smile." Mother Teresa
It also comes with three other quotes. Perfect for scrapbooking as well.

Still trying to use up some of my scraps I went through my bits and pieces and came up with this design. I used my spellbinders to create the tag and my Martha Stewart punch to make the butterflies.

Can't wait to show you what I've got made for the next few days...another fabulous release. Stay tuned...:)
But for now you can see more Sneak Peeks at the Kraftin Kimmie challenge blog.

KKS Challenge # 68

Today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is to use twine or floss on your card. I chose to play with Charlotte. Charlotte was the very first KKS that I fell in love with. I loved her hair, her clothes, the dolls, and especially her little dimple under her eye like she's twitching or something. lol

The paper is unknown to me because it's from box of 6 x 6 that a friend of mine and I created with each others stash. We went through most of our  designer paper and chopped up the 12 x 12 sheets into 4, each getting 2.  It worked out really well, now she has some of mine I have some of her's. Paper bliss.

I added some thick rick rack that I got back in the fall at Hobby Lobby, a few buttons and some Baker's Twine that fellow Krafty girl Andrea gave me in exchange of her daughter's bangs being trimmed. I can work with that. Work in exchange for krafty stuff. lol :)

I've already had a peek at the other Krafty Girls cards and they look awesome. Do you want to see??...of course you do. Check them out here.

Have a super weekend.

KKS Challenge #67

I love today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge. To use scoppy scallops on your card. Well that's pretty easy with all the nesties, and border punches...now just to decide what to use. I tend to have some sort of scallops on my card so I chose one that I had already made. That's not cheating is it? lol Nah. I didn't think so.

I want winter to be done with so I know I'm skipping a season here with Eleanor in her swimsuit, but come on Mother Nature...Bring on the warm weather!!

The patterned paper I used a friend shared with me, but I think it's from a 4 x 6 DCWV pad. I used a friends Spellbinders label 17 to cut out Eleanor. I really like the shape of this nestie, I have it on my wish list now, among other things. Hee hee. I used the modern label punch from Stampin Up, that I also need to have...the sentiments fit so perfectly inside. I just need to have it.

See this is the problem when you stamp with friends...you use their stuff and then you need to have it. lol I added some ribbon and flowers from my stash and using my MS double loops border punch, I added some scallops. You can find most of the tools I used Scrappin Great Deals. Really you can find everything here. Sheila has such a fantastic Scrapbooking store carrying many different lines and tons of goodies...and the store is expanding!!!! Which means even more stuff...Now that's really exciting!!  I can't wait!

So anyway, to see more great cards for this weeks challenge check out the Kraftin Kimmie challenge blog.

Have a great weekend!! :)

KKS Challenge 65

Today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is a recipe...3 different colours, 2 different designer papers, 1 button and 1 ribbon. I love it!! So I think I have followed the recipe correctly, however I did add a flower and a butterfly to the mix so I may have cheated a little bit. lol

Isn't Judy awesome, I love her pigtails and her lil hot pink shorts. Be sure to pop back tomorrow for the official Kraftin Kimmie release and a Krafty Hop.

Let's see if the rest of the Krafty Girls followed the recipe. You can check up on them here.
