KKS Challenge #67

I love today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge. To use scoppy scallops on your card. Well that's pretty easy with all the nesties, and border punches...now just to decide what to use. I tend to have some sort of scallops on my card so I chose one that I had already made. That's not cheating is it? lol Nah. I didn't think so.

I want winter to be done with so I know I'm skipping a season here with Eleanor in her swimsuit, but come on Mother Nature...Bring on the warm weather!!

The patterned paper I used a friend shared with me, but I think it's from a 4 x 6 DCWV pad. I used a friends Spellbinders label 17 to cut out Eleanor. I really like the shape of this nestie, I have it on my wish list now, among other things. Hee hee. I used the modern label punch from Stampin Up, that I also need to have...the sentiments fit so perfectly inside. I just need to have it.

See this is the problem when you stamp with friends...you use their stuff and then you need to have it. lol I added some ribbon and flowers from my stash and using my MS double loops border punch, I added some scallops. You can find most of the tools I used Scrappin Great Deals. Really you can find everything here. Sheila has such a fantastic Scrapbooking store carrying many different lines and tons of goodies...and the store is expanding!!!! Which means even more stuff...Now that's really exciting!!  I can't wait!

So anyway, to see more great cards for this weeks challenge check out the Kraftin Kimmie challenge blog.

Have a great weekend!! :)

KKS Challenge #66

Today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is to follow a sketch. I found this one to be a bit tricky just because of the big circle. I know it sounds silly, but it just threw me off a bit. First of all, I don't have any circles that big. So I traced the bottom of a big glass candle cover thingy, lol. Then trimmed it out with my scissors, but you could tell...so then I distressed the edges a bit to hide any imperfections, and this is what I came up with.

I used Richie form this month's release, I did add some eyelids to him....now I think he looks kinda sly. The paper is from an old DCWV paper stack. The sentiment fit perfectly in the stampin Up word window punch.

Now head on over to the Krafty Girl challenge blog to see some of the amazing things the rest of the girls created this week.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend. :)

Again I couldn't resist doing two cards because I just loved these images so much that I wanted to colour them all. lol My first card I used Joanie and I wanted her to look sexy so I stuck with a black and red theme and coincidentally she matches her man Danny.

Today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is a recipe...3 different colours, 2 different designer papers, 1 button and 1 ribbon. I love it!! So I think I have followed the recipe correctly, however I did add a flower and a butterfly to the mix so I may have cheated a little bit. lol

Isn't Judy awesome, I love her pigtails and her lil hot pink shorts. Be sure to pop back tomorrow for the official Kraftin Kimmie release and a Krafty Hop.

Let's see if the rest of the Krafty Girls followed the recipe. You can check up on them here.

Sneak peaks day three...

Welcome back to the final day of Kraftin Kimmie's sneak peeks. We've saved Annie Rodrigue til the end.

All right I know I say this almost every time but seriously...how awesome are these images?!!! I freakin love them, and really I've never seen anything quite like them before. Again Annie does such an amazing job with their hair do's I can't resist. I love them so much I did two cards. My first being Patsy. I pulled out some bright fun paper by BoBunny added some dotted ribbon and used my Spellbinder's fancy tags for the sentiment. The music notes I made using a sizzix die cut some black glittery card stock from the $1 store.

Now this little hottie is Fanny, I thought she looked kinda sassy so I gave her red hair. I pulled out some old paper from my stash that I thought kinda had a retro look to it and added some of those Bazzil decorative edges and some orange pearls.

You won't won't to miss the rest of this release, trust me. It's one of the Best!!! But then again I say that about all of them lol. :)

Thanks for stopping by, now go check out the what the rest of the Krafty Girls created.

Steven has a few more images for this release so be sure to pop around to some of the other Krafty girls blogs so that you make sure you see them all. And stop back tomorrow, you won't regret it!!! I can't wait to share.

Day #1 of KKS Feb. Sneak Peeks

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has become known for their sweet, whimsical images that are so much fun to colour with markers, pencils and watercolours! But this month we are launching a new line of stamps that are headed in a different direction!

Today Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is debuting a new line of stamps that will appeal to both scrappers and stampers alike! The sets are called 'Krafty Quotes'!! Each month we'll be releasing a new set and each set will have four quotes which are larger in size than your average word stamps. These gorgeous sentiments are perfect to accent your scrapbook pages, your main card images or to become the focal point of your design!

This month, Krafty Quotes #1 features quotes from Audrey Hepburn, Louisa May Alcott, Lucille Ball and Mother Teresa!!

Today I have used Lucille Ball's quote..."Love yourself first and everything else falls into line." I felt like doing something rather then just a card so I was playing around and came up with this wall hanging. I used my MS double loops border punch on kraft cardstock to create the base, added some old Stampin Up designer paper, a couple of shades of ribbon and a few pearls to finish it off. The little butterfly is also a MS punch and I added a few tiny gems to the centre.

Pop by the other Krafty girls blogs to see what they designed this week with the new line of Krafty Quotes.

Thanks for stopping by.

KKS Challenge # 64

Alright I apologize in advance but this is gonna be short and sweet. Just like Josephine here. Just got back from a 5 day vacation in Disney with the family and it was incredible!!...exhausting, but incredible. So if any of this doesn't make sense it's from lack of sleep. lol

Today's KKS challenge is Seeing Red. I coloured Josephine in using my copics, distressed the edges a bit and added a little Tim Holtz Burlap ink. The paper is from the Crazy Love collection from BoBunny. I added a gorgeous flower that I've been hoarding, which I added some more red to, using my copics. Some sequence and stickles for some bling and to finish I used my SU word window punch for the sentiment. Perfect for Valentine's Day or an anniversary.
Ok eyes are slowly closing, must get some sleep. I have some one's BD party to celebrate tomorrow,  hmmm any ideas who it may be?  you may know her.... :) I'll just say, She's one of the best! xo

Be sure to check out the KKS Challenge blog to see some more fantastic creations from our Krafty Girls.

I could fall asleep right here on the keyboard..........nighty night. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
