KKS Challenge #134 Summer Fun

Hi there and welcome to this weeks Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge, Summer Fun and after the heat wave that we've had this past week... staying inside to craft was the perfect way to stay cool. ;)

I coloured up two Lulu stamps, from the set Lulu on the move.  One she's playing with her hoola hoop and the other she's going for a bicycle ride. Two activities my girls love to do.

I also add a sentiment from the Everyday TrinketYou are Awesome my friend. Framed by a deckled spellbinder, perfect for creating a "sun" for Lulu.

To see what the rest of the Krafty gals created head on over to the KKS Challenge Blog.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and don't forget that this week's Frugal Friday sales are also on :)

Last day of KKS sneak peaks and it's challenge day.

Well we're on our last day of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks and they are from Annie. She created some wonderful characters that I'm sure you'll recognize from a classic childrens book...Peter Pan.

It's also challenge day and this week it's a sketch and I chose to use Tinkerbell. I coloured Tink with my copics coordinating them with the Corinne paper from s.e.i.

I came across some translucent iridescent paper that I had in my stash that I paper pieced onto her wings and it was super easy because the sheet was also a sticker. :) Added a bling flourish and voila.

Stop by the KKS Challenge blog to see who else from the Peter Pan crew made the KKS family. See you tomorrow for the official release day and a Krafty Hop.

Day three of KKS June Sneak Peaks...

Well I'm back again with some more sneak peaks from Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps. Today we're are featuring Emilie's latest designs. This is such an awesome set that I know I will make tons of use of, having two little girls of my own.

So I was thinking into the future and designed a two page layout with all three teens. I'll add some pics later, but for now this is what I've got. Hope you like it. :)

The paper's I used I had gotten so long ago I have no idea what line they are from and the scraps I found on the desk had no company name on the back, I do believe I got them Hobby Lobby. The Girls Just Want to Have Fun is a Rub-on Ink Effects, from DCWV.  I added some flowers and added some large Prima pebbles to the centre.

I added lots of little hot pink gems around the day dream girl, and created the background to the title with some green cardstock embossed with a cuttlebug folder and then i just distressed it with a touch of black ink.

Check out some of the designs the rest of the Krafty team created, lots of ideas out there for this fantastic set. And if you leave comments along the way 2 lucky people will have the chance to each win this Teen set.

Thanks for stopping by, one more day of peaks...guess who's left?? :)

Day two of KKS June's Sneak Peaks...

Hi there and welcome back to day two of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Today we are showing you the newest of Cheryl's Lulu sets and she's back this time with a little friend.

So let me introduce you to Lulu's little sister Libby. My first card is using the Tea party set. I coloured in the image with my copics matching it to MME lost and found paper that I was inspired by. I paper pieced the table cloth, added some lace, a few crocheted flowers, a couple of pearl straight pins and a teapot charm that I picked up at this years Scrapfest.

I also added Lulu and Libby to a scrapbook page of my girls playing in the back yard one day. I meant to add the sentiment "my sister has the best sister", but then I forgot before taking the pic.

Myself having two older sisters I will be using this sentiment a lot!! ;) lol

Be sure to check what the rest of the Krafty girls have for sneak peaks and if you leave comments along the way one lucky Krafter will get the chance to win this Lulu set. :) Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back tomorrow, day three... :)

I had a  ton of fun colouring this Seaside beauty. I had a bunch of ideas of what I was going to create and this is what came together in the end. I think this is my most favourite altered item I have made.  I love the colour teal and when I came across this sea shell paper the scene just came together.  I then dug out all my teal embellishments  and bling,  so appropriate for this Sea Jewel release.
I really enjoyed putting them all together to create this glass jar, the perfect place to hold all those precious seashells collected.

The set goes live on the shop website at midnight tonight!!! We will also be celebrating with an awesome SEA JEWELS Krafty Hop and giving away a set to one lucky stamper, so be sure to join us for more gorgeous samples tomorrow!!!

KKS Challenge #131

This week's challenge is brought to you by...me! :) and today's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge is Anything but a card. I love to create altered items and with so many Kraftin' Kimmie's stamps to choose from, the ideas are endles!!. I'll see something at the dollar store or at Michael's or sometimes it can just be an old hot chocolate tin that can be transformed into something wonderful. They make terrific gifts and who doesn't like a homemade gift. So on that note.. the school year is coming to an end, and there's all those teachers to say thank you to for working with our children all year. Kimmie came out with the perfect stamp last month that I'm sure I'll be inking up for many school years to come.

I used Miss Information on my project this week. Picked up a clip board from the dollar store covered it with some paper that I had gotten from a paper pack from Dollar Giant added a few alphabet stickers and some ribbon. Pretty simple, now I just need to make 2 more. Lol

Thanks for stopping by, and if you'd like play along this week or to see some other projects, pop on over to the KKS challenge blog to see what the rest of the Krafty Gals created. Also the Frugal Friday specials are now on as well. :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. :)
