For these two cards I created somewhat of a scene leaving the focus on the images so I kept it simple by just adding a few glittery MFT clouds and some yellow gems to create the night sky. Again with the I pick You image I just added a few Prima leaves to complete the tree.

KKS Challenge 172, The Great Outdoors

Well, welcome back for another awesome challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We are LOVING your submissions!!! You're rockin' these challenges!! It's awesome to see so many of you creating with KKS!!! Keep them coming! 

This week our hostess is CHERYL!! And her challenge is called the GREAT OUTDOORS!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features the great outdoors or nature in some way!! I decided to use Lexi from the Down on the Farm set that just came out. Absolutely adore this set growing up on a farm myself. I added some clouds from a MFT die and a few butterflies and the paper is from a new 6x6 pad called Spring Drop.

KKS Day Four of Sneak Peaks...

Welcome back to day four of our FEBRUARY Kraftin' Kimmie Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share TWO ADORABLE new sets by artist Cheryl Alger!!! You'll recognize these characters from previous sets.....Lulu, Lexi and Lucas! And they are just as cute as can be!!! These new sets are.......LIL' BUCKAROOS and SOMEBUNNY LOVES YOU!

I used a little loot bag that I think I got from a dollar store and altered it slightly. Adding cute little Lucas to it just makes the bag even more appealing. The cloud and grass are MFT die cuts.  I also added a couple little flowers with some pearls and a few glittery butterflies that I made using my MS punch .
Super cute and super easy. :)

I have a Lexie card to share with you and a another Dino card as well. Let's start with Lexie because I love her to pieces.

I created somewhat of a scene which would have worked very nicely with a challenge we had not so long ago that I skipped out on because I felt rather intimidated by it. But after putting together this card I'm very happy with the results. So here she is.

The paper is from MME, Happier. The clouds and grass are from MFT die cuts and the dirt path I made by tearing some brown cardstock and embossing it with a cuttlebug folder. I wasn't really sure where to put the sentiment but then thought maybe it would look alright as a sign. So there you have it.

Then we have a Dino in her egg. I really liked this fun paper and I love pink with black so I coloured her with my  my copics to match. I then used my scalloped spellbinders and inked the image with some pink chalk ink before removing it from the die.  I created the border using a ek border punch and added a bit of ribbon.

I had a  ton of fun colouring this Seaside beauty. I had a bunch of ideas of what I was going to create and this is what came together in the end. I think this is my most favourite altered item I have made.  I love the colour teal and when I came across this sea shell paper the scene just came together.  I then dug out all my teal embellishments  and bling,  so appropriate for this Sea Jewel release. 
 I really enjoyed putting them all together to create this glass jar, the perfect place to hold all those precious seashells collected.
