KKS Challenge, Warm & Cozy

This is how I have felt with the cold weather approaching. But I do love to have a warm hot chocolate, or apple cider, or cappuccino....mmmm, so delicious. :)
Anyway, I used this cute little guy from last months release, Cuddle Up & Keep Warm. I found these perfect papers in my stash, sorry I don't know what line they are from. I wanna say Bobunny... but not too sure. 
I paper pieced his blanket and added a little shading. Otherwise pretty sweet and simple.

KKS Challenge #180, Fun in the Sun!!

Well, welcome back for another supah fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got another fantastically FUN challenge for you this week! Come along and play with us! 

This week our hostess is MELANIE!! And her challenge is FUN IN THE SUN!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features the beach, the sun, outdoor scenes of some kind!! I chose to use Lucas from the Totally Tubular set that was just released last weekend. My card again is very sweet and simple, some fun DP from my stash. Added a little twine, a couple of dew drops and a cute sticker to finish it off. Now Lucas is all set for some "Fun in the Sun!!"

Day Four of KKS sneak peaks...

Welcome back to Day FOUR of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May previews!!! We are back with three more of our sassy BEACHY GIRLS for you today! Just wait 'til ya see!

Today we have the last three stamps from our BEACHY GIRLS collection to show you! Just wait 'til you see how the Krafty Girls have used them!! We've got MARGARITA, RIVER and SUNNIE to share! It's another incredibly fun release!! You will love it! 

Meet River. I think she is my favourite out of the girls from this release and it's not because I like to fish cause I have no desire to do that. I had this paper in my stash, can't tell you what company it is from unfortunately. You see I went through a phase that my friends and I would buy the 12x12 paper slabs and then just cut them up and divide them, never really keeping track of company or names. I guess we were just in our happy place with more and more paper. :) So I often have to just say misc. paper. Most likely from DCWV but that's about it. 
Anyway, I found this paper that I thought was perfect, added a few dew drops that look kinda like air bubbles and frame the sentiment with my new Spellbinders label.

Day 4 of KKS Sneak Peaks

This month we have a set of FABULOUS...... NERDS AND GEEKS!!! Don't we all know a few nerdy peeps in our everyday lives?? If you can't think of anyone in your circles......it's probably YOU!! Haha!

Check out all the amazing creations on today's hop in combination with this week's challenge!! The lovely JENNY is our hostess this week and her challenge is ANYTHING GOES!! We want EVERYONE to play along and have a chance to win the new GAMER GIRL, as featured on Jenny's gorgeous creation!! We really hope you are inspired by this week's challenge and share your inky creations!!! We SO enjoy seeing your beautiful designs inspired by our challenges!

I love what Annie has designed for us. With the majority of us being so techy, I think these latest images will be great for cards.  I'm guilty of it myself but when I look around at family get togethers, someone is either on a cell phone, an iPod, or a tablet of some kind. Seriously,  put them away people and enjoy the ones around you! Right?! Anyway, I didn't mean to rant. I love my iPad. So kettle, meet pot. lol

 I found these great papers at Winners that were absolutely made for this release. I was very excited to use them. They are from DCWV, The Generation Tech Stack. So for the Gamer Girl the paper made it so easy to bring it all together. The paper that looked like the game I used it to make it look like she was playing on a big screen and I made use of both sentiments that came with her as well.

For my second, Robot Boy. I had some papers in my misc stack that I thought would work nicely with him. I added some faux stitching around the edges using our In Stitches stamps. Added some teal brads to the corners and some silver chrome dew drops to the centre of the gears. I used my circle spellbinders to cut him out and inked around the edges with some Soft Sky SU ink before removing it from the die.

More KKS Sneak Peaks...Day three

Welcome back to day three of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Today we are sharing with you Emilie's latest creations. Babies :)

With my card today I kept it simple with the focus on this cute lil babe. I trimmed him out carefully not to give him his first haircut ;) The paper's I used are from a 4x6 Nana's Nursery by DCWV. I framed the baby using my spellbinders, and a little ribbon and some dew drops in each of the corners. 

Sweet and simple. 

KKS October Sneak Peaks, Day one...

We are kicking off the *New* OCTOBER Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps previews today and first off, we’d like to introduce you to a beautiful new set of Trinkets!!! We are very excited to share with you our….WINTER TRINKETS!!! 

These circular sentiment stamps have been created and designed by the totally talented Krafty Girl, Nicole Aspinall!! They are made especially to fit in your 1 3/8ths and 1 ¾ inch punches, for quick and easy cutting!!! This month we are releasing the WINTER Trinkets set which includes EIGHT trinkets in each set with four of each size and they come as both positive and negative images, so you can use your black or brown ink with the positive stamps and use your coloured inks with the negative ones!! You will get the set as a completely unmounted full sheet of deeply etched grey rubber.

All of the Krafty Girls are cardmakers primarily and we have found these to be such a quick and easy way to add a sentiment to our creations or to use as the focal point on our cards! They are also perfect for your Smashbook pages and your scrapbook pages, not to mention your altered items and tags!! No stamper's stash is complete without them!

More KKS Sneak Peaks!!

Today is Day three of Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Today we're featuring Emilie's newest creations. And I've done something a little different then what I usually do. I was originally a scrapbooker and never even touched a stamp....well now it's the total opposite. I still love to scrapbook, so I've combined both passions.

Here's what I came up with using Emilie's cute lil seagull. Totally reminds me of Finding Nemo....lol

This was last year in Port Stanley at a friends cottage. We had such a great weekend and the girls absolutely LOVE going to the beach!!! This is my youngest daughter Cory. Going for a dip, playing in the sand....

and having some fries.

Fortunately the seagulls left us alone. :)
