KKS Challenge #180, Fun in the Sun!!

Well, welcome back for another supah fun challenge here at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! We've got another fantastically FUN challenge for you this week! Come along and play with us! 

This week our hostess is MELANIE!! And her challenge is FUN IN THE SUN!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp that features the beach, the sun, outdoor scenes of some kind!! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. We hope you can play along for your chance to WIN some Kraftin' Kimmie rubbah!!!

I chose to use Lucas from the Totally Tubular set that was just released last weekend. My card again is very sweet and simple, some fun DP from my stash. Added a little twine, a couple of dew drops and a cute sticker to finish it off. Now Lucas is all set for some "Fun in the Sun!!"

Today's card I used Lucas, who looks like he's just been benched. He's so cute. I used some papers from MME, Out of the Blue. They were the only "sporty" papers I had. I added some brads and wrapped some twine around them to make it look like laces. I also added a couple of Tim Holtz tickets.

Day 2 of KKS Sneak Peaks

Welcome back to our NOVEMBER Krafty Peeks!!! Today we are excited to share the TWO new SETS by artist Cheryl Alger!!! First we have some characters that you are already familiar with.....Lulu, Lexi and Lucas! And we are very excited to share a sweet new inspirational set by Cheryl!!! It's OFF WE GO!! and DELIGHTFUL VERSES!!!

For my first card I used Lucas and the papers I used are from a 6x6 MME pad that is called Away we go. Kept it pretty simple cut out the image with my spellbinders and inked the image with some soft sky SU ink before removing it from the frame. Then I traced the spellbinder onto some kraft cardstock and cut it out to create the small frame around it.

With Lulu the papers are from Blink of an eye from MME frames lulu with my scalloped spellbinders ink it with some wheat chalk ink and punched out some flowers using the same dp added some buttons and twine.

KKS Challenge #145

Hi there and welcome to this week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge which is to do paper piecing on your cards.

I chose to use this cute little gnome from the set Hangin' with my Gnomies. I paper pieced her hat and her skirt and did a touch of shading with my copics.

The Thank You sentiment is from the Everyday Trinkets set.

KKS Challenge #123

Welcome to this week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge. Our challenge this week is to create a tag or use a tag on our card. So I decided to make a tag/bookmark using this sweet little Gnome from the Hangin with my Gnomies set.

I made the tag using one of my Spellbinders but just to make the decorative edge and not cutting through the bottom half...if that makes any sense at all. lol

The paper is from the DCWV Green stack that worked perfectly with this image and I added a rub on from an older Stampin Up set.

KKS Challenge #87- Finish the inside of your card

Welcome back to day three of Kraftin' Kimmies Stamps sneak peaks and it's challenge day...AND what a challenge it is.  I never, never... until the card is going to be given to someone, finish the inside of my cards. lol :)
Not that's it's really much of a challenge, it's more just laziness! But really I should because you have all these bits of scraps lying around on your craft desk that coordinate with your card... you might as well just do something with the inside. Even if it's just keeping it blank until it's given to that special someone. Right?!! That will be my new goal..we'll see how long I last. ;) lol

Anyway, today we are featuring our last artist, Annie. For this month's release Annie has created these wonderful Travel Girls. I used Cleo for the challenge. Found some great papers at Micheal's to go with this release and some cute brads from Hobby Lobby.

and a bonus one just for fun...but I didn't finish the inside :( Surprise, Surprise. hahaha.
