KKS day four of Sneak Peaks and a Challenge

Hey there and welcome back for some more Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks. Today we are featuring Annie's latest fabulous creations and you're gonna love them. I think they are definitely one of my favourite release!!

Today is also challenge day and the challenge this week is a sketch.

And here's my take on it....

The paper is from Marcella K, Lemon Drops mat deck. I added a couple of tickets from a Tim Holtz pack. after scrunching them up and adding some distress ink.  For the sentiment, I flipped one over and tried to replicate what the original ticket looked like. Not too shabby. I used my Martha Stewart drippy goo border punch to make it look like dripping butter and then found some Sculpture flowers in my stash from Prima that I thought kinda looked like popcorn.

My girlfriend was here visiting from Vancouver and she really liked this card, and beings her birthday was in June, this card now has a happy new home. Again Happy Belated Birthday Erin. xo

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to pop over to the KKS challenge blog to play along and to see more of this week's challenge.

KKS meets One crazy stamper

Welcome to One Crazy Krafty HOP!!  Today Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is combining forces with One Crazy Stamper to bring you an incredible blog hop filled with lots of krafty goodness!!
Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is an online Canadian stamp company with whimsical stamps from several different artists, catering to cardmakers and scrapbookers with lots of different styles!  If you like to colour….you’ll love our images!!!  Check us out at our krafty SHOP!  www.kraftinkimmiestamps.com

For today's KKS and One Crazy Stamper's Blog Hop I used Voodoo Lady. I stamped her in Versafine vintage sepia ink and added just a touch of colour using my copics. I distressed the heck out of this card. I inked, tore, crumpled, sanded and even burned it. lol I think I accomplished the look I was going for. You'd never believe that this paper was from a Christmas 6 x 6. (Kaiser Craft Dec. 25th) Even the tag was Xmasy, but I hid that part.

One Crazy Stamper is a fantastic Canadian crafting store with an online site as well as a brick and mortar store located in Bolton, Ontario!  They carry all kinds of paper, embellishments, Copic markers and SO much more!!  Check them out here:  www.onecrazystamper.com
Our blog hop today features both Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps and crafting goodies from One Crazy Stamper with projects created by design team members from both teams!!  Be sure to hop around from blog to blog and leave a comment at each stop, because some lucky random commenter's are going to win some krafty goodies!!!

Now to continue on the hop you'll want to go to Lisa's blog next.
Happy hopping!! :)

KKS Challenge #90

This week's Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge is to use distressing on your card.

I chose to use Michelle this week. I roughed up all my edges using my Tonic paper distresser and also inked the edges using some Tim holtz distress ink. Keeping my colours all fairly neutral.

To see what the other Krafty Gals came up with pop on over to the KKS challenge blog.

KKS Challenge #88

This weeks Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps challenge is a sketch from my fellow krafty girl Tara.
I used Elaine from our latest release of travel girls. I had picked up this paper from Micheal's as it suited the theme perfectly.

I cut Elaine out using my spellbinders and inked around the edges before removing it from the die. I added a lace edge using my Fiskar's border punch. Tore along the bottom edge and inked it with some Tim Holtz distress ink. Finished it off by adding some chocolate ribbon, baker's twine, a few pearls and a button.

Check out what some of the other Krafty Gals came up with this week, over at our KKSChallenge Blog.

Thanks for stopping by.

KKS Challenge #87- Finish the inside of your card

Welcome back to day three of Kraftin' Kimmies Stamps sneak peaks and it's challenge day...AND what a challenge it is.  I never, never... until the card is going to be given to someone, finish the inside of my cards. lol :)
Not that's it's really much of a challenge, it's more just laziness! But really I should because you have all these bits of scraps lying around on your craft desk that coordinate with your card... you might as well just do something with the inside. Even if it's just keeping it blank until it's given to that special someone. Right?!! That will be my new goal..we'll see how long I last. ;) lol

Anyway, today we are featuring our last artist, Annie. For this month's release Annie has created these wonderful Travel Girls. I used Cleo for the challenge. Found some great papers at Micheal's to go with this release and some cute brads from Hobby Lobby.

and now the inside...

and a bonus one just for fun...but I didn't finish the inside :( Surprise, Surprise. hahaha.

Be sure to stop by the KKS Challenge blog and leave some love along the way for the chance to win some of Annie's Travel Girls.

Thanks for stopping by.
