KKS Challenge #76 May Flowers

This weeks Kraftin Kimmie challenge is to use flowers on your card. I love to use flowers. I have an abundance of them cause besides paper, it is one of my other guilty pleasures that I just can't resist.

I saved Lilybelle  especially for this challenge. I love these pale green primas's I picked up at Mary Maxim's...I  kinda wish I would have picked up more then one package. lol The designer paper that I used is from the Vicki B. collection by BoBunny.  I adore every sheet that is in this 6*6 pad. All the colours are just scrumptious. To finish it off I added some All Dressed Up adhesive ribbon and a few pearls.

I had Emelia coloured up some time ago and thought she would work perfectly with this sketch.

I used some dp from the Green Stack/ DCWV , inked around Emelia with some Frayed Burlap distress ink and added the sentiment which comes in the Kimmie's Steampunk Sentiments.

Now are you ready to play?? Then head on over to the CPS challenge blog.

Happy long weekend everybody. I think spring may have gotten lost this year!! Has anyone seen it?!! Seriously it's snowed twice this week!

I thought maybe Rainy Day Miles here would help bring some more "spring like" weather or way. He's dressed appropriately for the season, not winter coats, hats and mitts. That's what my girls have been wearing this past week.

Anyhoo, this weeks KKS challenge was to use frilly ribbon or lace. I have an abundance of this ribbon that I had scooped up in multiple colours at The Bella Boutique over 2 years ago. So this challenge was perfect. Use up that old stuff to make room for new. Lol ;)

Be sure to pop over to the Krafty Girl challenge blog to see what that rest of the gals came up with this week.

Have a Happy Easter, and a wonderful long weekend.

KKS Challenge #74 - Krafty Bingo

It's Day Three of Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Sneak Peeks...and a challenge.

Today's Kraftin Kimmie challenge is a Krafty bingo...I was beyond confused at first but when I met Tara who is incredibly sweet, she explained it to me and then it made sense. I thought we had to choose a row and then make a card with the embellies in that row...in a row. But the challenge is just to choose a row and then put the anywhere on your card...doesn't have to be in a row. Duh me!! Totally makes sense now.
So here's the sketch.
And here are two cards I made following the sketch.
Annie Rodrigue has done it again with her incredible artistic talent creating five beautiful fairies
It was hard to choose but for my first card I used Isabelle and I chose the diagonal row, bottom left to top right. Punches, ribbon, and gems.

For my second card I used Tallulahbelle and I used the left parallel row on the Bingo card. Flowers, Glitter, and Diecuts.

I absolutely love all of these fairies. I think there easily one of my favourite releases. Love them!!!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the challenge blog to see more of these cuties.
Plus release day is Tomorrow!! :)

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peeks Day two...

Welcome back to Day Two of Kraftin Kimmie's sneak peeks. Today we're featuring Steven Leary's images. I played with two because it was just too hard to choose only one. So my first card is with Astronaut Andy. Isn't he cute. I coloured him with my copics and inked around the image before taking it out of the circle nestabilitie. I also added some crystal lacquer to his helmet to make it look all glossy, probably hard to tell in the picture though. The sentiment that I used is from Kimmie's Sassy sentiments. On one of my shopping trips I found the perfect paper for Andy ...but I can't find a piece that says what line it is from :( Sorry about that, my desk is a tad messy at the moment. It could be in there somewhere.  Actually the ribbon matches it sooo...I just went and looked and it says American Crafts. So I think the paper is probably the same. Phew, I feel better now. lol

Anyway... ;)

My second card today is Dancing Dylan, named after my lil girl. :)  She's very much a girly girl. Has long, long hair. Looooves to dress up, sing, dance and craft. Just like mommy. Hee hee. Craft that is. lol
I found this paper in a pack at Lensmills. I know!! They sometimes actually have some pretty cool stuff. But it's always a hit or a miss. I also got the silver sparkly paper there, or maybe it was the dollar store...either way it was also a steal. I used my Spellbinder Lacey circles for the image and Spellbinders Fancy tags for the sentiment. Which is from the Kimmie's Fairy Sentiments.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and be sure to check out the challenge blog to see more Krafty Girls Sneak Peeks.

KKS Sneak peaks day one.

Hi there and welcome to our first day of Kraftin Kimmie stamps sneak peeks. Today were starting our peeks with Krafty Quotes #3. I chose to use the the Eleanor Roosevelt quote. I used two sets of my spellbinders and added a few flowers and some little gems that I got from the dollar store. I also added a few butterflies using my Martha Stewart bunch.
There are three other quotes in the Krafty Quotes #3 set. Want to see more...of course you do, so hop on over to the challenge blog and check out the rest of the Krafty Girls cards.

Have a great day and be sure to come back tomorrow to see some more sneak peeks.
