KKS Challenge 84 - Make a Splash!
This weeks Kraftin' Kimmies Stamps challenge is to "Make a Splash"... so water themed, beach, rain or anything wet/watery.
I decided to use Lilttle Summer Boy from the May release. Coloured him using my copics and cut him out with my Spellbinders and inked the edges with some wheat chalk ink. The paper is unknown, cause a friend shared it with me. But I think the fun patterns work nicely with this Beach Boy.
Be sure to head on over to the KKStamps Challenge blog to check out what the rest of the Krafty Gals came up with. I've already had a peek and they look great!!
Enjoy your weekend!!

Cute Card Thursday
Kraftin' Kimmies Stamps is proud to be the sponsor once again for this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge. This Sketch was super fun to play along with and so many possibilities.
Here's the sketch.
and here's what I created.

and here's what I created.
I had previously coloured Rosabelle so I decided she would be perfect for this sketch...beings she was already finished. ;)
I believe the paper is from Bobunny. I remember buying a lot of this when it first came out, such fun bright colours.
Like I said earlier the sketch was pretty simple so I added a few prima gems and some rick rack and voila!
Thanks for stopping by and to see more Krafty Girls cards pop on over to the CCT Challenge blog.

Miles and Maisie meet CPS
This week, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is thrilled to sponsor the Card Positioning Systems challenge. The sketch is very versatile but I didn't get very creative and copied it...exactly. lol Not very adventurous of me.
So here is the sketch..
Pretty much bang on right...hahahaha. Told ya. Next time I'll try to mix it up a bit...we'll see.
So I stamped Springtime Maisie, and then stamped Catching Butterflies right next to her like they were enjoying a day out together, cute right?!! Coloured them with my copics, added a few butterflies that I punched out with a Martha Stewart punch, and finished it off with some dollar store pearls. The paper is from K Marcella.
Some of the other Krafty Girls have played along as well, and you will see what they've created on the CPS blog later this week. Like to play along for the chance to win some new rubber? Well join us for this challenge as well as Card For Kids challenge at the KKStamps Challenge blog for the chance to win some new rubber! :)

KKS Challenge 83, Cards for Kids
This week's Kraftin Kimmie stamps challenge is to make a card for the little people in our lives. I have a couple of them myself so these cards are always good to have on hand.
I chose to use this Dance in the Rain girl. I coloured her using my copics but I paper pieced her dress and bow with some paper from My Minds Eye and finished it off with a couple of primas with a couple of pearls in the centre.
If you play along with this week's challenge you could have the chance to win Dancing Dylan as well as four other stamps of your choice from Steven Leary's images. Sweet eh?!!
To see more cards for this week's Kraftin Kimmie challenge head on over to the Krafty girl challenge blog.
Have a great weekend.

Kimmie started her stamp company in October 2009 and since then has bought us some wonderful images from some amazing artists: Annie Rodrigue, Steven Leary, Cheryl Alger, Crissy Armstrong and the latest addition Emilie Goulet!
The Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps range is available in the UK/Europe at Quixotic Paperie. If you're in Canada/US then you can find the stamps at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps direct!
Today I'm helping out a fellow krafty girl Elaine. So here's the card I created using Friends are for Hugging. I coloured her using my copics. The paper is from the Crazy Love Collection by BoBunny. I used my Martha Stewart double hearts border punch, added a few primas with some Recollection stickers that look like buttons for the centres. The sentiment "Friends are for hugging" I stamped onto kraft and used a SU punch to cut it out and added a few tiny gems from the $ store.
Thanks for stopping by.

KKS Challenge #82...24 Krafty Karats!
This weeks Kraftin Kimmie Stamps challenge is hosted by me! My challenge for you is to use gold on your cards and with Annie's latest release of Asian inspired images I thought gold would be a great complimentary colour to add with these beauties, plus I had some really great paper and embellies to use.lol
Annie has done such an amazing job with this release that I couldn't just pick one, so the first image is for the challenge and her name is Natsuko, which means summer. She also comes with the sentiment "Never Forget Kindness". My apoligies again for not knowing what paper line this is from, but my guess is K and company? A friend gave it to me. I coloured Natsuko with my copics and added some crystal lacquer to her latern and while it was still wet I sprinkled some glitter on it. I also added some strips of gold stickers to frame my image and a little piece under the sentiment. I had this flower that looked really great with the paper but the centre of it was more of a brown metal colour. So I dug out those old shaker type metallic markers...that you shake, and they can make an awful mess! Well very carefully I coloured over the metal to make it gold. Crossing my fingers that a big glob wouldn't ruin my one and only teal flower. lol
My second card is using Sakura which means Cherry Blossom and she comes with the sentiment "Go with all your heart" I chose to colour her like a Geisha girl with the pale powdery skin and I paper pieced her gown with some silver embossed paper that I found at Lensmills. Kept the card pretty simple finishing it off with a black bow. I realize this card doesn't have a speck of gold on it. I just did it for fun, an extra. :)
Now if you head to the KKS challenge blog you'll see some more great images from Annie and some more gold "bling " along the way.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to leave comments for the Krafty Girls because two lucky winners will have the chance to win 3 of Annie images!! :)

Day Two...
Day two of Kraftin Kimmies Stamps sneak peaks and the party and the candy continues. Today we're featuring our artist Cheryl's images. There are three this month, all cuter then the next. Just like yesterday leave a comment and you have the chance to win Cheryl's entire release.
This sweetie here is called Butterflies Flutter by. I'm still trying to go through some of my old paper so I'm really not sure what line this is from. I was reading fellow Krafty Girl Diana's blog one day and she said that when she splits paper up with a friend, she puts it in a bag with the company and line written on it. What a great idea right?!! So in the future I too will do that. But for the time being, I'll still have a bunch of unknowns. lol
Head over to our challenge blog to see more of Cheryl's newest images and a chance to win some more candy. :)

Sneak Peaks Day One...
Hi there and welcome to day one of this month's Kraftin Kimmie stamps release party. I say party because you have the chance to win some candy. The more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win not one, or two...but Emilie's Entire release. Yeah!!!
Now you're probably wondering,....Who's Emilie?? lol Well she's our newest artist to join our Krafty Girl team. So a warm welcome to you Emilie, and what I've seen so far... So Awesome!! Emilie has written a little bit about herself, that you can read here.
Meet Jilly the Jellyfish. How cute eh?!! I used my favourite combination of copics R81, 83, 85 to colour Jilly and then inked around the image before removing it from the nestie with some soft sky ink from Stampin Up.
The paper...perfect right?. I believe it is from Imaginisce. I used my bubbles cuttlebug folder to emboss the card base. Which is 6x6 so I did do some creative layering to get it entirely embossed. Hopefully you don't spot the seams too much. I finished it off with some curly ribbon and a few dew drops.
To see more of Emilie's fun creations be sure to pop around to some of the other Krafty Girls blogs and leave a comment for a chance to win some new rubbah. :)
Thanks for stopping by. And stop back tomorrow for Day Two of sneak peaks.

KKS Challenge #81
Today's Kraftin Kimmie Stamps challenge is to use paper pieceing on our cards. I seldomly do this but I do love the look of it.
I chose to use Mandy from our Girls rock, May release. I pulled some old Stampin Up paper from my stash. I thought these soft mellow colours worked well with this yoga pose.
So I stamped Mandy on the DP with my new memento inked that I just bought this last week at Hobby Lobby. Works sooo much better then just reinking my old one. Nice dark, crisp lines. Love it!!
Anyhoo, I carefully trimmed out her yoga pants and shirt and glued them in place. I used my lace fiskars border punch, added a bit of white ribbon and tied a loose knot. Added a flower from my stash and a few pearls. (all from the dollar store)
Be sure to check out the Kraftin kimmie challenge blog to see what the rest of the Krafty girls came up with this week.
Take care and have a fabulous weekend!! I'm off to my eldest daughter's 7th Birthday party this afternoon. We're going bowling. Strike!!! :)
