Welcome to this week's Kraftin Kimmie's Stamps challenge. This week's challenge was to make a spring themed card. Well I just had to use one of our flower girls from Annie. So I decided to use Calla Lily, I thought she'd be perfect!!
I coloured her using my copics, then I decided to paper piece her dress using some really cute flowered paper from Stampin Up. I also added some stickles and a little bit of shading to her dress and a few pearls in her hair.
I found these really pretty pearl brads at Hobby Lobby I believe they are from the Spare Parts line and added a vine flourish with a cheery lynn die cut. I used a couple of my MS punches to create the border and the butterflies.
Thanks for stopping by and to play along in this weeks challenge or to see more of this weeks cards pop on over to the KKS challenge blog.
Have a great weekend.

The stamps are grouped together by artist and are available at a discount, but only for a limited time!!
My girls were off on a play date today so I had tons of Krafty time to myself!! Yeah!!! :)
I was on such a role today in my craft room that I made three cards for today. I wanted to talk a little about this last one because some of the details didn't really show up that well in my photo. I wanted to create a scene but wasn't really sure how I wanted to do it. I first thought about a pop up card but my Tin man was a bit thin and flimsy so I scratched that idea. Then I thought maybe an easel card would work nicely...and I'm quite happy the way it all came together. I found some great papers in my stash as the backdrop, some it you might recognize from and old 6x6 from Stampin Up.The stone paper I'm not sure where it came from, sorry. Probably a DCWV pack but i can't say for sure. So I dusted off a couple of old tools to create the scene, like my heat gun and my fiskars dry embossing plates. First of all I embossed the Tin man onto some silver metallic cardstock with some black embossing powder and I paper pieced his ax. I had an embossing plate that kinda looked like a stone pathway so I used that on some glittery yellow cardstock to create the yellow brick road. Really it was all quite simple, I liked how simple and clean it looked so I kept it just as is. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by and if you're still with me through all of this you're next stop on the blog hop is, Melanie. HAPPY HOPPING!!

Day 3 of KKS Sneak Peaks
Welcome back to Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks and it's also challenge day. . Today we are featuring Annie's newest designs and they are fabulous.
This week's challenge is a sketch challenge. Here's a pic.
Inspired by Wizard of Oz, meet the Wicked Witch
I love this image. She has that look like don't mess with me. lol I gave the sketch a 180 degree turn added a cobweb border using my Martha Stewart punch. I used my circle spellbinders to cut the Wicked Witch out but before removing from the nestie I inked around it with some mossy green ink, as well as the sentiment. I added a few black gems cause I thought they suited my theme better then flowers.
Now to see more of today's peak or to play along in the challenge, check out the KKS challenge blog
Also remember as you're stopping by the DT's blogs leave them a comment and two winners could have the chance to win two packages of 3 of the new Annies.
Tomorrow is the official release and a Krafty hop so I'll be back with more KKS :)

Day One of KKS Sneak Peaks...
Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps sneak peaks do not disappoint!! You'll love em!!
Lulu is back and I think she's sweeter then ever. These images are obviously perfect for cards for the lil ones in our lives, but they also work great for scrapbooking as well.
I've scrapbooked many pages of my girls painting and had one layout that I thought Lulu would look perfect on...and there was a little space to add her. A perfect finishing touch.
This is my youngest daughter, Cory about five years ago...where has the time gone. *sniff*
My girls have always loved to paint or do anything crafty. So here's a blast from the past.
and a close up of Lulu.
I'd also like to share a tri fold card that I made using another Lulu from this set.
Gotta say I'm loving this latest line of paper from Bobunny, Alora. So bright and fun...like Lulu :)
That's all I've got for today but be sure to pop back tomorrow for some more KKS sneak peaks.
Also don't forget that there is a huge sale going on over at the KKS store so you should definitely check it out. And remember you if you leave comments along your way, someone will win a set of the New Lulu's!!!
To see more Sneak Peaks check out what the rest of Krafty Gals have created.
Thanks for stopping by. See ya tomorrow :)

KKS Challenge #123
Welcome to this week's Kraftin' Kimmie's Stamps challenge. Our challenge this week is to create a tag or use a tag on our card. So I decided to make a tag/bookmark using this sweet little Gnome from the Hangin with my Gnomies set.
I made the tag using one of my Spellbinders but just to make the decorative edge and not cutting through the bottom half...if that makes any sense at all. lol
The paper is from the DCWV Green stack that worked perfectly with this image and I added a rub on from an older Stampin Up set.
To see more of this week's challenge cards head on over to the KKS challenge blog. Also Kraftim Kimmie's Stamps has there Frugal Friday sales up now.
Thanks for stopping by have a Happy Easter everyone!! :)
